Astro Nick was created out of the absence of a light object that felt meaningful within a living space.
Rather than designing a lamp around function alone, the object was conceived as a figure with presence.
Light is treated as an integrated, secondary element that supports the form instead of defining it.
The result is a sculptural object that occupies space, rather than simply illuminating it.
Astro Nick is built by hand, with each piece emphasizing material, proportion, and construction.
